Before you start thinking about getting a transmission flush, you should check with your manufacturer. Most manufacturers do not recommend the flush as part of the car’s maintenance. The process can actually create damage to the transmission, which could result in replacement of the entire unit. Follow the manufacturer’s guidelines for transmission care and flushing. If they recommend a flush after 30,000 miles, do not get one sooner.
